Zoo with 6,000 animals, the San Diego Zoo with 4,000 animals, and
the Pretoria Zoo with 3,500 animals.

I find no mention of being the world's largest zoo at teh San
Diego Zoo Web site.

I seriously doubt the San Diego Zoo is the largest in land area,
either, unless you include there adjunct Wild Animal Park out
near Escondido. And there seems to be a lot of extra land there
not being used by the park.
