Sichuan ? Good luck to you. I was there for 3 weeks
and lost weight. First night "hot-pot" was not too bad
but so much "oil" in the soup !


The pool of oil sitting on top of many dishes is pretty disgusting..
but the ma po dofu (pockmarked woman tofu) can be excellent in
Sichuan. The capital of Sichuan (Chengdu) is a fairly pleasant city,
despite its reported size of 10m+.
