Default seeking Portuguese grilled sardines in Washington DC

I haven't tried either of the Nando's Peri-Peris but both are very new
and are not yet rated (tho' listed as inexpensive) by Zagat. For the
record, one is at 819 Seventh NW (202-898-1225) in Chinatown and the
other at 1210 18th NW (202-621-8603) at Dupont Circ. Grilled sardines
are not mentioned by Zagat.


I ate at the one in Chinatown and it was okay but nothing to write home
about. I don't recall seeing grilled sardines although they might have
been there.

I know that Jaleo does NOT serve them.
