Hurricane Battered South Florida Timeshares Pass the Buck

Hurricane battered condos, offices, and rental units are increasing in
price to cope with the rising insurance costs. But what timeshares?
Timeshare property pusher East Ocean Development Corporation and Silver
Seas Resort was sued for inflating and disguising upkeep fees.
Apparently the thing to do when insurance companies are squeezing you
is pass the cost along by scamming the unsuspecting. Timeshares have
always been a scam but, this takes the cake.

This really makes me mad. As if getting stuck with a timeshare isn't
bad enough. I agree. Timeshares have ALWAYS been a scam. Just wish I
had known this when I was younger. I thought I was just getting a free
brunch and listening to a lecture. The next thing you know, I was
burdened with a timeshare for the next 7 years. My bad, I know. But
still. Timeshares are a SCAM.

I know I need to get over it, but I am still fuming about this post. My
wife says I need to turn negative into positive, so if anyone feels
like it, list either a positive experience you've had with a
timeshare or a positive way you got out of your timeshare. I gave up
and got out using timesharerelief. I guess I'll call it a positive
because I am not being gouged by my timeshare any more. Anyone else?
