I'd have to read more about it. I doubt it though. All other similar
laws have not restricted nationality, and have indeed immigration
implications. From December in the UK, a foreign non EU/EEA national
will be able to apply for a 'fiancé' visa to come to the UK in order to
go into a 'civil partnership' with a UK resident. Maybe all the locals
will have to vote on whether or not someone's partner can live in the
country?


In Switzerland, local voting on whether people can stay is no longer
allowed.



I was actually referring to the citizenship laws too. Has that changed?


Yes. This can not be done by vote.

No. But both partners have to live (and work) in Switzerland.
