Yo, does anyone any good websites about backpacking, one which
offers advice etc and has a chat/forum so we can meet other
backpackers ?

also check out www.globenotes.com if you want to put up photos/diaries
of your trip and create a dynamic map of your journey.

I used it last year when I did my rtw trip and was able to keep in
touch with friends and family and it proved to be very handy.
