Hi All,

I'm planning on going to Tampa the 2nd week of December. I'd like to stay
where I don't need to drive where there are good restaruants, music, and
hotels. Any suggestions?

Thanks

The town of Clearwater Beach should match your needs. You have to drive or
find a ride to get there, but there is no real need for a car in the compact
town. Nice beaches, plenty of shade to be found, and all sorts of
restaurants and shops in and around the center.

The St Petersburg suggestion is good. Or Clearwater Beach would put you
on the beach (so-so restaurants though).

Do not stay in downtown, there is nothing !
You could stay around Ybor City neighborhood, plenty to eat and drink.
St pete is quiet, but quite nice.
Clearwater Beach is OK.

Tampa without a car is not a good idea.
Your best bet is Ybor City.

Try Ybor (sp?) City. Supposed to be a fun weekend place.
