Default New York Hotels

Hi all, I am planning to be in NY from 12nov to 15nov. I have checked with
many midtown hotels and almost all seem to be full. Those that are not, have
rooms @ usd400+ so I was considering staying away from midtown and use
public transport to save on hotel costs. Would like hotel (4*) from where I
can get swiftly to Penn station (7th Avenue) or Grand Central station (42nd
Street).

Take a look at Inn on 23rd St., walking distance from Penn Station and a
pretty neat place. It is not, however, 4 star.

You should look anywhere from a few-block radius of 96 St. to Chambers
St./City Hall on both the West and East Sides. Subway connections from
that entire area will be pretty good.

If you would like to send a private email to me, please take out the TRASH, so to speak. Please do not email me something which you also posted.

You may wish to check out something like City Espaces Holidays. They
seemed to offer some of the best hotel packages in New York City, at
the best rates or least that was the case a few years back. You will
have to book their packages through a travel agent, as they don't
accept direct booking from customers. Do a search at Yahoo or Google
for their website to get more information.
