Problems with Erilar's postings.

I don't know if it is because she is using an IPad, but something very
strange has been happening with Erilar's postings at regular intervals over
the past few months. At random intervals, there seems to be 3 spurious
characters added to the end of her posts. A numeric 8, a dash - and a round
close bracket ) . I am using a fairly old version of Windows Live Mail as a
newsreader so perhaps it is that the offerings of Mr Ballmer are
incompatible with those of Mr Cook.

I see it too! I'm using slrn on linux, so it doesn't seem to be a Windows
problem.

Hate to spoil your fun, but I have no problems with the metric system
generally, though I admit to cheating on temperatures by using a
thermometer with both C and F scales rather than using the math conversion.
