CLIA now represents 97% of North American market

The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) added American Cruise
Lines (ACL) as its latest member this month.

That brings the association to 20 members, representing 97% of North
America's cruise capacity.

CLIA also is comprised of nearly 17,000 travel agents, making it the largest
travel industry association based on agency membership.

ACL ships sail with no more than 100 passengers along the inland waterways
of the US. The cruise line has nine itineraries between the states of Maine
and Florida.

"Enlighteners," who include naturalists, historians and other experts are
available on the ships to offer informal lectures and lead expeditions.

ACL has a relatively new fleet of ships built in the past four years. The
ships have spacious staterooms and picture windows. Many rooms have private
verandahs.
