Default Is the HORIZON sold?

Is it gossip or fact that the Horizon is sold?

Hi,

There has not been any announcement regarding the selling of the
Horizon.

Best regards,

The unfounded rumor, not announced by Celebrity, is that Horizon will be
transferred to a Royal Caribbean affiliate next Oct after refitting and moved
to the South American market. It seems strange that Celebrity would reduce
capacity with no replacements in sight. Maybe some of out TAs that post here
can add some light to this question.

Thanks for the info. We have friends that just came off her and provided
that 'gossip' or whatever it is to me. I have sailed her in the past and
have booked for the May 7th sailing to Bermuda. She is small and seems
perfect to do that voyage. I have not been to Bermuda in many years and
expect to see a lot of changes and probably way too much growth.

We sailed to Bermuda in 2002 and 2003 and hadn't been there since the
late 70s or early 80s. There was a lot more traffic and St George has
lots of stores that weren't there in our early visits. Bermuda is just
as beautiful and the people are as warm and friendly as we experienced
years ago.

I am happy to hear that as the Caribbean is all the same for me. I just
returned from the Century and while I loved the cruise, I only got off at
Key West.
I checked with the cruise booking agent on the ship, just out of curiosity,
as I had already booked, and she said that the Horizon had no cruises
scheduled after the Phila. to Bermuda run this summer. She seemed clueless.
We are sailing from Norfolk since it is drivable for us from east central
Fl.
