We flew up from Memphis last October. Two days is extremely adequate for

West of there maybe? Port Dalhoise (part of St.Catharines)? NOTL is on the
north end of the Niagara River and south side of Lake Ontario. The next place
north of there with a harbour would be Toronto, about 30 miles across the lake.

Loved atmosphere up there better than the commercialism of the Falls.

Commercialism? Like hotels, restaurants and other facilities for tourists. If
it weren't for them there would be no place for tourists to eat or sleep. I
think of NOTL as being just as commercialized as NOTL, but a heck of a lot more
expensive.

Not before I was in it (I think). What happened? Where'd it go?

I have seen the waterfall of waterfalls: Iguaçú. It's where
Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay meet. In one of the James Bond films,
he's zipping along a brown-watered river and gets to the cataract
where the boat goes over but he takes off with a hang glider. That
part of the falls is Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat).

There are board walks above the falls and one can swim below them.

While there, I spoke to people who'd seen Niagara (as I) and Victoria
and the famous one in Venezuela. The consensus was that Iguaçú is the
ultimate.

California's Sierra Nevada has had a record snowfall this year. I'ma
gonna go t'Yosemite (May 25) where I'm sure 'twill be unusually
spectacular.

Hey! They do tell you their off season prices. And you get a great
view of the road with even a possible glimpse of the falls.

While it is not one of the new hotels that towers over the falls and mars the
scenery, it is actually a pretty good location, and a decent hotel. I know some
people who have stayed there several times and liked it.
