Default Sydney to Melbourne +Airports

How many airports are there in each of the above cities?

And whats the quicket way to get from Sydney to Aus?

Is it possible by train? Whats the travel time and the avg cost?

Train travel will cost you $AU115.50 per person economy, $AU161.70 per
person 1st class or $AU243.10 per person for a sleeper. Journey time is 10
hours 20 mins. There are two services per day (7:43AM and 8:43PM leaving
from Sydney).

Have you thought of hiring a car and travelling via the coast road? As an
example Avis has a Tarago van for about $AU600 (plus petrol) for 2 days
hire. It is possible to drive to Melbourne in one day via the Hume Hwy
(inland) especially seeing there will be 5 of you, but if you want to see
more of Aus then I would suggest taking 2 days and seeing the coast.

Your other option is bus travel. Greyhound have 5 services daily and the
cost there is $AU62 per person. It takes 14hours 30mins.

The fares quoted are the full fares. Discounted promotional fares are
available all the time, and you can actually get an economy seat for
around $55.
