In Switzerland you'd most probably have snow at that time of the year, unless you go to the warmer parts like Ticino or Geneva. There you could have rain. Been to Switzerland and Vienna before. But I'd probably spend a couple of days in Luzern, which I skipped before. Luzern should rahter be snow than rain. If you go to Luzern, make sure to visit the "Verkehrshaus der Schweiz" (Museum of traffic). Lots of old trains, cars, airplanes and so on... Regards, Frank Yeah I went in 2006 and spent most of the time in the mountains, in Grindlewald and then Zermatt. One night each in Zurich and Geneva on arrival. Actually, there was neither snow nor rain that week. And it hadn't snowed in a few weeks so the snow on the ground wasn't that pristine looking. When I went up to Jungfraujoch, it was pretty warmish. I could have taken off my coat around noon. Could see a lot of earth around where the glaciers were. I may lug a tripod up there if I go, and try to take some bracketed shots for HDRs. |
