Default Cancun in September ?

September is Hurricane season, so it could be extremely wet if a
hurricane heads for that area. September is the rainy season anyway.

The ruins are not far away, an hour or so for Tulum, two hours to
Chitzen-Itza. Sign up for a tour to make it easy.

Thanks

Manish extrapolated from data available...

I am planning a vacation to Cancun in September with my wife and 13
month old baby. We will be staying in an all inclusive resort.

What's all inclusive for you is not going to be all inclusive for Junior.
Even were he/she breast fed, the changes in your wife's diet (and a few
margaritas) inevitably alter breast milk, and you're going to need to carry
along a substantial amount of other baby food of the sorts to which he/she
is accustomed. Yes, they have baby food in Mexico, but do they have the
sorts to which your bade is accustomed?

When bathing, etc., babies routinely ingest tap water. I'm simply not sure
how your babe's system may deal with cancun's tap water, and at least one
of Mexico's most opular and widely available bottled waters hasa mineral
content that gives many folksm unused to mineral water, the trots. Adults
with the rots are one thing. Babies with that condition can need
hospitalization and hooking up to an IV quicker than you can imagine.

Is it
very rainy in Cancun in September ?

Routine afternoon thunderstorms and the end of the Hurricane season.
Depending on where in the US you live, hot and muggy. For your baby,
a potentially ideal breeding ground for Mongolian Crotch Rot, the prickly
heat and assorted tropical discomforts.

.....and then there's the sun on the beach or poolside, enough to within a
short time toast your bambino to more than mildly discomforting sunburn.

Will that be a problem to see the
Mayan ruins ? How is Cancun in September ?

Unless you're planning of disposing of the child in the traditional Mayan
fashon, dropping the puir wee bugger in the cenote, taking a baby to see
the Mayan ruins in September ain't my idea of family fun.

This is one of those occasions for which God invented and man has fostered
the concept of grandparents. From the flights to/from Cancun, and all of
the potential for a sick baby and worried parents, have you not considered
just how selfish you're being to put a child through an experince of
substantial discomfort, alteration of the routine upon which babies thrive,
potential illness and the poking, prodding and medication/treatment
therefrom, etc., just so you and your wife can go to the beach, eat what is
pretty dismal examples of "international" food served at all inclusive
resorts, drink too much cheap mescal camouflaged as good tequila, and get
some frequent flyer miles....

Are you serious?
