Regulars in the four fora to which this is posted might recall
numerous comments, for years, that my mother wanted to die. That she
has done so is not a sad occasion nor one for sympathy for us
survivors, many friends, two children and two grandchildren.

It is oft said that death is part of life. C'est la vie.

I am sorry, Ike......I know how much you cared for her and that it is
a great loss for you.

The OS (Original Spammer) said that his mother had said many times she
wanted to die. So she died. She got her wish.

Why multiple newsgroups are beating their breasts (ObWomen: their
boobs, as women like to refer to boob jobs, getting their boobs done,
etc.) is just some evidence of narcissistic personality disorder.

Both my parents are dead. Many years ago. So? I didn't write a dozen
articles explaining to people the importance of their passing.

Get the **** over with it. The mother wanted to die. She's now dead.
Sounds like a good outcome all around.

My interpretation was that the Iconoclast was celebrating the fact
that his mother had died, consistent with his Iconoclasm.

Over the years, Iconoclast has cultivated a somewhat mysterious
reputation for non-mainstream beliefs, and therefore I didn't
consider its posts particulary noteworthy.

When you encounter a strange animal on your property, do you
wonder who its parents were? So why would Icono Clast be
any different?

I believe the concept, as expressed by the touchy-feely Birkenstock
wearing holistic healer "bridge visualization" types, is "closure."

Icono Clast didn't post about this for me to react "ding dong the
wicked witch is dead" and to celebrate mothers dying everywhere.

Sharing something like on a public forum invites personal reactions to
be displayed and shared, such as yours, and such as mine. Put your
post beside my post, and probably something cancels out the other's,
and it's we can it bizarre closure.
