England: Guided versus self-guided?
And on the subject of Tour Groups - they're Evil. Evil Tour Groups.
ETG. A TLA (three-letter acronym) I've made for the mass herds that mob sights and sites. They tend to rush through a place far far quicker than I would prefer, yet have a knack for grazing the longest damned time right in front of the special photograph shot you want to line up, with a loud tour guide who makes sure she takes JUST enough time talking about the *next* stop in the tour _before_ the ETG is herded there, for the next ETG in the succession to take over spoiling the photo shot. My Rational Mind realizes that my dispair tricks me into thinking this is pre-planned. My Animal Brain wants to whip out an Uzi and mow them all down!
