Appalachicola NF Camping
Hi, I'm planning to tent camp in Appalachicola
National Forest for 2-3 nights, about a week from now. I'd appreciate advice from anyone who's been there. I'm interested in the free or low cost sites as I don't need services. Are the Hunt Camps a good place to pitch a tent now hunt season is over? I'm also interested in staying away from alligators if that could be a problem at some sites. I have downloaded and printed out the camping and recreation area maps. Thanks. |
