AA crew detained in Sao Paulo, will be deported
Major Brazilian media are reporting that the entire 12-person crew of the AA
flight from Miami to Sao Paulo last night which arrived this morning has been detained and will be deported to the US today for failing to comply with the photographing and fingerprinting requirements. The captain of the flight flipped off the officer as he was taking his picture. It's all over the Brazilian papers and TV today but no US source seems to have picked the story up yet, as it just happened. No doubt it will be all over US media later today. O Globo has it on its website which requires registration. http://www.globo.com.br |

AA crew detained in Sao Paulo, will be deported
Only the pilot and co-pilots were U.S. Citizens, all other crew members were
Brazilian and/or columbian so there would be no reason to detain them. The flight turned normally and returned to the United States, as scheduled, both Captain and Second Officer at the controls. There was no detainment, and there was no deportation. Where do you get this ****?? "John" wrote in message ... There was no detainment, and there was no deportation. See http://tinyurl.com/2mz9l . According to the article, the captain was arrested and 10 members of the crew were detained. |

AA crew detained in Sao Paulo, will be deported
That's certainly an unfair way to characterize Americans. I'm a U.S. citizen,
and I'm disgusted by the pilot's immature actions. He's over 50 and acting like an adolescent. Dumb! Every country has its yahoos. (I've been to Brazil several times. It's a beautiful, fascinating country.) Subject: AA crew detained in Sao Paulo, will be deported From: Qwer Ty Yeah, the captain probably thought he was being really funny. Who's laughing now... He's got that typical asshole look on his face that many Americans have when they go abroad, like "Out of my way, I'm an uh-MER-uh-cun, so **** you!" Once a redneck, always a redneck. Even if you are qualified to fly a 777... |

The pilot was fined approximately $13,000. Is that tax deductible? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3961395/ "It wasn’t immediately clear where Hersh was staying Wednesday night." Maybe they put him on a plane to Syria? |
