Default Mexico City taxi from airport to Zocalo

Folks:

I need a little help as this is my first visit to Mexico City. Once I
clear Customs at the airport, I understand that it is a good idea to
go to a ticket counter somewhere inside the airport and purchase a
pre-paid taxi fare to my hotel (located near the Zocalo). I have a
couple of questions: 1) specifically where is this ticket counter
located? 2) once I purchase the pre-paid taxi fare, where do I go to
board a taxi?

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

you have to get out of the airport
there is a booth where you will pay for the taxi and you will get a coupon
then you have to go back inside to the taxi stand

but everything is very smooth and very well organized.

the taxi driver expects a tip though ( not compulsory )

My experience last year was not very smooth. You might have people
lying to you which way to go, saying they are the official taxi
service, while they are not. I was even grabbed by a "taxi driver" and
pulled toward his cab. The ticket window is immediatly to the left
after you exit the airport.
