Default Princess says, "drop dead"

Seen on the net; no real surprise to those of us in the know:

Had this death in the family. Deadline for final payment was extended, but
not apparently for those who now chose not to go. Loosing their $200 down
payment.

Seems that Cruises are very strict like airlines. But a death in the family.
They did refund the $200 for the person that died, by sending in the copy of
the Death Cert. But not the other 2 families deposit.

Any ideas...? Princess is pretty hard to get to. Did send a letter that got
the $200, and then called and couldnt get passed the TOUGH answer of NO. You
can send another letter but it will probably be denied.

yeah, "**** off" is the best yer gonna get, buddy...

I don't understand why this is such a big surprise. The person said "for
those who now chose not to go", it was their choice. And would travel
insurance cover this, unless they had a "cancel for any reason" clause?

They should have asked to at least postpone the cruise and see if they'd
allow them to do that.

And what did their travel agent say?
