Was this your first Voyager class ship?

Did you find the chairs on the promenade deck that you like?

I knew you would get to Cape Liberty without any problems. Glad you had
a great cruise and can't wait for your review.

Welcome home, Annie, I can't wait to read your review. I like the
Voyager class ships, especially the Solarium.

Hi All,

Many of you seem to be very interested in the different classes of ship and
enjoy comparing notes on them. I have been on dozens of ships over the past
50 years and I have no idea what class any of them represented. I have
never found a reason to care what class ship I was on. I always had a nice
place to sleep, too much to eat, lots of things to do and a rail to lean
over and watch the ocean. Most had a touch of Las Vegas to test how bad my
luck was. Whether or not there was a wall to climb or 17 restaurants to try
or a very high ceiling has never been a point of interest to me.

I understand that many find the class thing to add to your enjoyment of the
cruise, but I'm curious if others share my dis-interest. Anybody want to
jump in with an opinion?

Harry Cooper

We have enjoyed each of our 22 cruises so far and as soon as we step on
a ship we relax and enjoy. There have been some cruises with problems,
some ship layouts that we didn't like, but we still enjoy ourselves on
each cruise.

The reason for knowing which class a ship is, is to compare one ship to
another. There are some ships we have liked more and would look to book
one of their sister ships in the future. We loved the original Crown
Princess, so when we were looking for a cruise with friends and saw the
Crown had a good itin. for us, we jumped at the chance to cruise on her
again.

In answer to tom,yes this was our first cruise on voyager class ship, and
we liked it a lot, just one or 2 little minor things we did not care
for,but not enough to spoil our good time. going to write a little more
about our cruise as soon as i get my thoughts in order, and yeswe found
many nice lounges and other chairs with foot rests on the promenade
deck, and on the upper decks also.

One thing I enjoy doing when I go on a cruise, is going swimming and
using the hot tubs. Royal Caribbean's Voyager and Freedom class ships
have a lovely Solarium with great big hot tubs. The Radiance class
ships are also lovely, but they have tiny little hot tubs. The
different classes of ships is just like a different model of a car. You
might as well choose one that you like, especially if the ship is your
destination and not the ports of call. Hope you have a great Sunday,
Harry.

BECCA:
That was one of the minor things we did not like about explorer of the
seas, the solarium, they do not have it enclosed like on the grandeur of
the seas, and it was rather cold to try to sit there on the first 2
days, since we did not hit warmer weather til our 3rd day.

Anoher thing i really liked about explorer was the shower doors,no
sloppy plastic shower curtains, and best of all NO WATER ON THE FLOOR. We
also tried our luck in the casino, and broke nearly even, came out a few
bucks ahead,I like the way they still pay off,in cash not credits on
your account like they did on ruby princess. The one thing i did not
care for was the way they had you play roullette,it was a minimum of
$1.00 but you could only play the numbers for that,if you wanted to play
black or red it cost you $5.00.
