Going on a 3 day Bahamas cruise and we have to go by car so is there any safe/convenient alternative to the ludicrous $20 a day parking at the Port?

How far away do you live? You could take a cab.

You could ask a friend to drive.

You could stay in a hotel that offers park and cruise packages.

You could drop everyone off with luggage, park your car in a bad neighborhood and hitchhike to the cruise.

You could try these folks, at about $10 a day you'll save enough to buy something for 30 bucks.

You could also drop everyone and their luggage off at the ship, then hand
the keys to some black guy on the dock wearing a hoodie and ask him.."just
park this thing for me..ok"?
problem solved.
