Nobody has mentioned that Wal Mart allows RVers to park overnight

I didn't know that.

Where as this is true of many Wal Marts there are some that do not
allow RVers to park over night, see this link

http://www.freecampgrounds.com/noparking.html

I had never seen one parked at a WalMart. Maybe it is a store by store
decision.

I understand. I had a family to raise so those culturally diverse places
didn't work for us. We thought about a "second" place in one of the new
high rises but passed. Hubby thinks he is a timber framer and wants to
build our own mountain place now. He's a nutcase, pure and simple.

I miss the those restaurants, worked a "peculiar" job on 10th Street at
the
Midtowm MARTA area, and *really* miss the amateur plays and such at all
those funky playhouses. I know you two will enjoy it.

I totally understand the appeal of suburbia, especially if you have kids.
The public schools in the area I'm moving are not where you would want to
send your kids. There are actually some things I will miss about suburbia
.... mainly Wal-mart!

Fair enough. I apologize if I implied something incorrectly.

No problem. Apology accepted.

Sad but true and public school was a must for mine.

Target Corporation used to be called Dayton Hudson. They changed the
name to Target about a year ago, and sold off Marshall Fields and
Mervyn's.

Federated owns Macy's and Bloomingdale's.

....and if I'm not mistaken - May Company, which bought Marshall Fields from
Target Corp (which used to be called Dayton Hudson until they renamed all
their Daytons and Hudsons stores into Marshall Fields) has agreed to a
merger/purchase by Federated.

So Target is simply part of Target, but Marshall Fields (and stores formerly
known as Daytons or Hudsons) is likely to be owned by Federated.
