Sounds superificial and overpriced. I met an Egyptian guy in London
(ObEurope reference) in June who ran safaris in Egypt and Libya. He boasted
they were a fifth to a tenth of the cost of comparable trips to eastern and
southern Africa. I asked him what sort of animals did visitors see. He said
the desert biodiversity was amazing and promised that they could include
foxes, deer, scorpions and spiders. And a very rare desert mouse.

Not to mention the flora.

I'm sure it's fascinating and the desert beautiful - I'd certainly consider
doing it - but unfortunately people expect to see *big game* in Africa, and
the north just doesn't have it.
