Hurricane Frances Updates!
Hi Everyone,
I received this information from Royal Caribbean and thought it would be of interest. If you have missed any of my news' postings, they are available on my web site. Best regards, Ray LIGHTHOUSE TRAVEL 800-719-9917 or 805-566-3905 http://www.lighthousetravel.com Hurricane Frances Update September 7, 2004 - 9:00 a.m. Royal Caribbean International continues to closely monitor its ship operations in the wake of Hurricane Frances to ensure our guests enjoy safe and comfortable cruises in calm seas and warm, sunny weather. The safety and comfort of our guests are always the foremost concern of Royal Caribbean International. We are currently altering the itinerary of several Royal Caribbean International ships. We will update this information three times daily - at 10 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. REVISED: Mariner of the Seas is currently docked at the Port of Miami. Guests are being assisted with travel arrangements to return home. Mariner of the Seas, normally scheduled to depart Port Canaveral last Sunday, on a seven-night sailing, will now make a modified sailing from the Port of Miami. The ship will delay its departure from the Port of Miami until 10 p.m., local time, this evening, and will return to the Port of Miami on the morning of September 12. Guests who sail on this cruise will receive an onboard credit of $500 per stateroom and a certificate for a 50 percent discount on a future Royal Caribbean sailing of seven nights or less, which departs on or before December 15, 2005, excluding holidays. Guests booked on this sailing who cancel their cruise will receive a full refund. Guests who purchased their air transportation through Royal Caribbean should contact the company to have their flights rescheduled. Guests who purchased their own air transportation should contact their airline to reschedule their flights. REVISED: Navigator of the Seas departed the Port of Miami last night and is sailing a modified itinerary that will conclude on Saturday at the Port of Miami. REVISED: Enchantment of the Seas departed Port Everglades last night and is sailing a modified itinerary that will conclude on Thursday at Port Everglades. REVISED: Explorer of the Seas departed the Port of Miami last night and is sailing a modified itinerary that will conclude on Sunday at the Port of Miami. REVISED: Majesty of the Seas departed the Port of Miami last night and is sailing a modified itinerary that will conclude on Friday at the Port of Miami. Sovereign of the Seas will not make its four night cruise scheduled to depart Port Canaveral yesterday. That sailing is cancelled. Guests booked on that sailing will receive a full refund. At this time, all other Royal Caribbean International ships are sailing their normal itineraries. We will continue to closely monitor our operations and update this information at 2 p.m. today. |
