cheapest flight Italy-Canada?
Can I book a cheap return airfare from Milano (Italy) to Edmonton
(Canada) from Canada? If not, could you help me find the lowest price to suggest to my relatives coming to visit? Thank you. - gA |

What's your definition of cheap? Without dates it's hard to tell but I see options starting around $1200. You can book it on your side, or they can book it from there, it doesn't really matter either way. If you run into problems, you can always hit up a travel agent to work through the details. |

Thank you. There are several results coming up around $1,200, and I
consider those 'normal' fares. I am interested to see if there is a way around having to pay a 'normal' fare. - gA On 3/16/2011 7:48 PM, DevilsPGD wrote: In someone claiming to be gA typed: Can I book a cheap return airfare from Milano (Italy) to Edmonton (Canada) from Canada? I looked at the always informative ITA software site. which says that during April, there's a Lufthansa fare with two connections for US$964, or for a less painful experience, US$1096 round trip on BA to London and then AC to YEG. I would be surprised if you could do much better than that. R's, John |

I am now convinced that the minute savings may not be worth the
wait... Thanks for the comments. - gA On 3/16/2011 7:57 PM, John Levine wrote: Thank you. There are several results coming up around $1,200, and I consider those 'normal' fares. If you're just looking to find cheaper normal/regular fares, I've had great luck with http://www.hipmunk.com/ It's not perfect and doesn't cover every option, but it's the fastest and cleanest interface I've ever seen, and it has a sort called "agony" that attempts to balance price with bull**** (so it won't have you spend an extra 3 hours at a stopover to save $10, for example) |
