Default XXL Travel show last night on Travel Channel (in the U.S.)

I was wondering if anyone who reads these two groups watched this
program last night. They taped four travelers (a married couple from
the city, a woman from Seattle, and a woman from Ohio) fly to Las
Vegas for the BBW Bash last year. (btw I attended that, and will be
leaving tomorrow for this year's!)

All four of the travelers are fat (sorry as a fat guy I can use that
word), and the show was about their experiences traveling (and being
out and about) generally and flying specifically. IMHO the show was
really well done and was "fair and balanced".

A lot of issues have been raised that I have seen discussed on both of
these groups over the years. I want to see if any current or former
flight attendants would like to give their experiences dealing with
XXL travelers. Many complaints come from less-than-sensitive flight
attendants (can't use the abbreviation FA in both of these groups!). I
just want to know, WHY? Aren't flight attendants supposed to be kind
and courteous to everyone? Comments?

Unfortunately, the most sympathetic figure in the show, the poor smiling
young man forced to ride across America enveloped between two manatee,
received no compensation or adjustment for his vile mistreatment by the
unnamed airline and his "obtrusive" seatmates. I suppose that had the wee
puir laddie suffocated, they would have debarked and left his blue-lipped
smothered corpse to sit there, mayhap a placard about his neck, "Sic Semper
Mulier Obesa!"

So, it is OK for a fat person to use the work, but not non-fat people?
Yeah, very logical.

Pehhaps more courtesy would be extended if people of size would simply
book enough seats to handle their size.
