Status for a new travel agency operating in Northern America
Its a competitive world. I am planning to open a new travel agency
serving North America, South East Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore) and East asia covering China, Two Korea's and Japan plus Europe and later on if possible South America and Australia. What are the things required except money? I am a new guy in the field. Any suggestions are more than welcome. Nisarg |

I am planning to open a new travel agency
I am a new guy in the field. If you mean that you've never worked at a travel agency before, then you'd probably have a much better chance of success if you got some formal training first. There are travel agency schools and I think there are also correspondance courses, and your library or bookstore could probably recommend some good books about the travel industry. There are also web sites just for travel agents. You could also talk to some professional travel agents to get their advice. In fact you might want to get a a job at an existing travel agency for a year or two to get some experience. Jim |
