Default Evening & night activity in several cities

I need some tips for the evening (till 10pm) for the following cities:

- Hollywood
- San Francisco
- Salt Lake City

I mean something like museums (in safe neighbourhood) - i donīt want to
join party only ;-).

But I saw that many museums in San Francisco are closed very early.

I guess in Las Vegas is enough to do without spending lot of money - or not?

Thanks

You can spend hours in Vegas just people watching.

I can really recommend getting a guidebook for Vegas (and environs). I've
been there once (which was plenty, so far) and took along the "Unofficial
Guide" to Vegas, and it led to unusual insights and offbeat sidelights that
MADE the vacation. In Vegas (much like Disney) the concept is to drag you
here and there captivated by the latest and the brightest. A good
guidebook can not only put the glitter into perspective, but give you other
ideas as well that can round out a vacation, and add dimensions to the
experience. If you want an online perspective, here is a wonderful FAQ from
the University of Las Vegas:
