Problems getting an Australian Visa from Delhi, India
Has anyone in India faced a similiar problem to me. I need to travel to
the Solomon Islands for the purpose of two weeks work. I failed at my first attemtp at obtaining a Tourist visa for Australia because of lack of documentation. Fair enough. This was partly my fault or rather our company's fault. Second time around, I get back to them and post in my application. This time around, the Australian embassy returns my document after two weeks saying that my supplied bank draft is not enough and that the fee has been raised since january 1st, 2005. Now before creating thoses bank draft, I checked the Australian government website and it was still pointing to the old rate around January 6th, 2005. Since then it seems that the website has been updated. i would love to hear if any one else has faced this problem from the Australian embassy in New Delhi, India. I just want to make sure that I didn't make a mistake. Now I am not too sure if I will be getting my travel document back in time in order to travel. |
