Default Fastest route from Perth city centre to Kalbarri

Hi all,
Would anyone be able to tell me which is the fastest route from Perth
city (William st to be exact) to Kalbarri? Via Midlands? And how long would
it take if I set off at about 9am on a working Monday morning. Thank you.

Shou Wee

Drive down William Street. Turn left at Riverside Drive. Turn over Causway.
Turn left into Great Eastern Highway. Follow the signs to Geraldton via
Brand Highway.
Depending on how fast you drive and how often you stop for a break it could
take anything from 5 hours to all day. Don't expect to get there much before
dark!

Driving, I went via Midland. Left Perth by about 10:30-11 and got there
by about 4 something. This was in early July.
