Horseback riding in Caribbean?

For those of you who have been to Nassau, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, or San Juan,
do you know of anywhere to go horseback riding? I think this could be a lot of
fun if somebody offers it.

NCL had a horseback riding excursion in San Juan in 2000. My kids did it and
enjoyed it very much.

We did a horseback excursion is San Juan - it was fabulous. They too
us out towards the Dorado area, quite a drive from San Juan. We road
Paso Fino horses, a very small breed, with a 5th gait (kind of a
smooth run, slower than a canter and smoother than a trot) that you
don't find in regular, run-of-the-mill horse. Kind of like "tolting"
(sp?) with Icelandic horses. Anyway, the tour was very well run, the
horses were in excellent condition, the wranglers very obviously cared
very well for the animals.

My husband and I are always a little wary of horseback excursions,
becuase often times we find animals that are not in the best
condition. In this case, we were very pleasantly surprised at the
condition of the horses as well as the professionalism of the guides.
