I flew from LA to Birmingham, Alabama to attend a special event. After I went
out to get something to eat I could not get back in the room because the
electronic lock malfuntioned. The attitude at the desk was that I was a senile
old lady who did not know how to use a keycard. It took them half an hour to
come up with me to check it out. Then they did nothing but insert the key card
over and over again. After two hours I had to leave in shorts and a t shirt and
without my camera for the event. When I got back hours later they had got
someone to remove the door and told me the manager would make it up to me for
the inconvenience. The next day I tried and tried to get hold of the manager
but he was never available. Finally after I threatened to sue them I got that
night free. This was a Comfort Inn.
