Hotel near Sydney Airport

We will be taking an international flight out of Sydney early in the
morning and would like to stay in a hotel near the airport. We are
looking for a hotel which is decent but not too expensive ($100 AU
would be okay). Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I agree with David, the Ibis is about that price range.
My wife and I have stayed there several times before flights and found it
quite comfortable.
Not a bad little bar and Bistro either.
Free shuttle to the airport.

Here's another vote for the Ibis. And for those with half-day waits for
connections, they also have a rather useful 4-hour stay rate.
