Bali - It's my heaven on this Earth
"JMS" wrote in message ...
snip All visitors must have a valid passport for at least six months from the date of arrival. Proof of return tickets are also required. That proof of return ticket requirement caused me to scuttle a contemplated trip some years ago. I live in the Philippines, and thought to travel to Davao in southeast Mindinao and take a boat from there to Sulawesi, travel Jakarta on Java to visit a friend who was then living there and then bus across Java and catch a boat to Bali, probably spending several weeks in Bail. I had not planned my return, but had vague thoughts of flying to Singapore, and then traveling up through Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and possibly then south again through Vietnam; some of which territory I had visited previously and some I had not. The point, though, was that I had not settled my travel plans and hoped to firm up the plans as I went. I probably ought to have bought a return-trip boat ticket from Davao to comply with this idiotic requirement and just discarded the return half. I didn't, though. I scuttled the trip. |
