Rumour has it that you vetoed the new Science GCSE curriculum or did
they just wait until you retired?


The problems are deeper than a superficial tweak towards 'science in
society' will correct, in my opinion. As it happens, we started teaching it
last year (because we started GCSE in year 9). Still, it's nice to sit on
the sidelines and admire from a distance.
