Hi all.
I'm writing from Italy.
Do you know a family beach in San diego near the hotels, where I can swim
safetly ?
I'll arrive next august.
What do you think about Coronado?
Thanks.
Massimo

You can pretty much swim safely in most San Diego beaches. Coronado
has one of the best looking beach around. The only thing to look out
for are sharks.

Mission Beach is very popular. Coronado is also nice, perhaps more
expensive and relatively more secluded. La Jolla would be more
expensive yet. Of the three, Mission Beach is the most family-friendly,
and the busiest.

Allow me to explain: the difference in expense would be in the adjacent
hotels or condos.
The sand on the beach comes gratis.
