The flashmob was the best bit, besides Lena of course.

Lena got the vote, although technically the Eurovision is a song cotnest
not a beauty or a charm parade.

The flashmob bits were indeed fun.

The song is excellent, and the uptempo version is even better than the
original ballad. A good performer with a rubbish song is worthless, but
that is not what we have here. Everything fits. I don't think she would
have won with a meaningless song.

I don't share your enthusiasm (the juries apparently did, which is what
counts!), but we've seen far worse. Hope it does something for her career.

We thought it was the worst winner for a long time.

I'm surprised. You think Lordi was better?

I thought both were rubbish.

I thought Lordi was (were?) great.
lena, lana, lini or whatever is like a poor man's incoherent, vacous
minded, empty-headed, trained monkey (except the "singing bit of the
training didn't workout ) Lilly Allen wannabe. I'd rather the real
thing.

Lena has no voice. The words are

I went everywhere for you
I even did my hair for you
I bought new underwear that's blue
And I wore it just the other day
Love you know I'd fight for you
I left on the porch light for you
Whether you are sweet or cool
I'm gonna love you either way...

Love, Oh, Love
I gotta tell you how I feel about you
Cause I, Oh, I
Can't go a minute without your love
Like a satellite I'm in orbit all the way around you
And I would fall out into the night
Can't go a minute without your love

Love I got it bad for you
I saved the best I have for you
You sometimes make me sad and blue
Wouldn't have it any other way
Love my aim is straight and true
Cupid's arrow is just for you
I even painted my toenails for you
I did it just the other day...

Love, Oh, Love
I gotta tell you how I feel about you
Cause I, Oh, I
Can't go a minute without your love
Like a satellite I'm in orbit all the way around you
And I would fall out into the night
Can't go a minute without your love

Love oh love
I gotta tell you how I feel about you
Cause I, oh, I
Can't go a minute without your love

Where you go, I follow
You set the pace we take it fast or slow
I follow in your wake
Oh oh oh

You got me, you got me
A force more powerful than gravy
It's physics... there's no escape

Love my aim is straight and true
Cupid's arrow is just for you
I even painted my toenails for you
I did it just the other day

Love, Oh, Love
I gotta tell you how I feel about you
Cause I, Oh, I
Can't go a minute without your love
Like a satellite I'm in orbit all the way around you
And I would fall out into the night
Can't go a minute without your love

Love, Oh, Love
I gotta tell you how I feel about you
Cause I, Oh, I
Can't go a minute without your love

Love Love Love
Love Love Love

I liked the flashmob and thought Lena was very average, but nice to see
the new voting system getting fairer results.

I thought Jennifer Braun and her song entry were better. And Jennifer
Braun is already touring professionally with the band Rewind.

What and buck the events of the last 30 years and more??
This /is/ the Eurovision Song Contest we're talking about?

Personally I like it, but I was getting a bit sick of it even before the
contest.
