Default Carry on question

I will be flying on AA next week.... I am wondering if the wonderful
TSA rules are against me .... carrying a bottle or two of liquor in my
carry on bag.... I sure don't want to put them in my checked luggage.
TIA Mike

You can carry on or check up to five liters, as long as it is in the
original retail package, and doesn't exceed 140 proof.
