Dumb Question
This is about two miles from Ft. Lauderdale Airport, about half the distance
between the airport and the heart of the Ft. Lauderdale beach. Like the airport, it might not be within the incorporated city limits of "Ft. Lauderdale" itself, but it is definitely considered the Ft. Lauderdale metro area. If you're lucky you'll see all the ships from your landing approach sitting there waiting for you to get on. There won't be any ships in port to see as you make your approach, but you won't be risking missing the ship because of fight delays or cancellations either. Lee "Don & Lynn" wrote in message ... Dumb Question
I would have said Fort Lauderdale, but just to confuse things I took a look
at their website www.porteverglades.org/ . It would appear that even Port Everglades management couldn't answer that question easily. "Port Everglades' jurisdiction encompasses a total of 2,190 acres (887 hectares) which includes 1,742 acres of upland and 448 acres of submerged land. Upland acreage falls within the following municipalities: a.. 1,242 acres or 71.3% of Port Everglades is located within the City of Hollywood. b.. 232 acres or 13.3% is located within the City of Fort Lauderdale. c.. 234 acres or 13.4% is located within the City of Dania. d.. 34 acres or 2% is located within unincorporated Broward County. Dumb Question
Why ...cocky ... response to a simple question
Since you've made no reference to exactly which response you found so "cocky" it's hard to say. What I find amazing about this thread is that the 2 main questions go back to 1997, 1999 & 2001, then resurface in 2004. Mila r@g wrote in message ...
