Question about bringing item in carry on
Hi. I am intending to fly Northwest in the near future. However, the
only piece of luggage I will have is my carry on luggage. I have a question that maybe some of you could answer. I am thinking of bringing along a small container of Paul Mitchell sculpting foam ( it is like foam/mousse). I am wondering if I am going to get into trouble if I try to take it in my carryon, or am I going to have to check my carry on? Thanks. Terri |

TSA has a website that lists forbidden items on it. Of course, if in doubt, call your airline (and make sure you get the name of whomever you talk to). Terri |

Question about bringing item in carry on
It's not the airline that will keep it from getting on the plane, it's the
TSA. The airline won't even know you have it. The TSA list is over at http://www.tsa.gov/interweb/assetlib...12_18_2003.pdf That would probably fall under the Personal care and Toiletries, and they are allowed. The decision is up to the TSA guard at the screening, not your airline. "PTRAVEL" wrote in message om... "Miss Evolution" wrote in message ... Hi. I am intending to fly Northwest in the near future. Question about bringing item in carry on
You are carrying a small container of hair gel with you. Exactly at what
point will the airline know you are carrying it? Airlines don't check people or carryon, they rely on the TSA to do that. "PTRAVEL" wrote in message om... "Mike Cordelli" wrote in message om... Troll or no troll, the question is a valid one and should be answered.

... Thanks....I won't be able to bring it as the label says it is Extremely Flammable. Thanks. Well, most hairsprays and the like are flammable. I would take the risk - the worst that will happen is that you lose the can, but I'd be surprised - cans of deodorant, etc., have never caused me a problem. |
