Default Perth-Adelaide-Melb-Brisbane websites???

Hi,
living in Perth and had a notion next Mar/Apr to take the car to Melbourne
and see the grandkids and then travel on up the coast to Brisbane. Any good
websites to look at, would like accommodation at around 50/60/70 dollars for
off season and would only be passing thru, no more than two nights.
Bondi/Coffs Harbour/Byron Bay/Surfers. Presently just doing a feasibility
study!!!
Any interesting websites appreciated.

The trick is to spend the day in Byron but stay in Murwillumbah or Tweed
(more motels to the square mile than anywhere else in Oz) that night -
or even here in Pottsville where the motel is cheap and you can walk
200m to the beach. http://www.pottsvillebeachmotel.com.au/ Then call me
and we'll have a beer:-)

If you want real peace and quiet and an unspoiled (but also unpatrolled)
beach, check out the motel at Wooyung caravan park

Cheers, Alan

I always use http://www.google.com.au to search for accommodation.

e.g. I got http://www.visitnsw.com.au/ for NSW and
http://www.queenslandholidays.com.au...tion/index.cfm for Qld.

which are just two of numerous sites.

In fact it is a lot more fun doing your own searches.
