Day 1 ARRIVAL


Welcome and transfer to the hotel. Visit Kandawgyi Park and Karaweik Royal
Barge, in the form of a mythical himsa bird. Enjoy lunch at a local
restaurant. Afternoon tour highlights include the Chaukhtatgyi Reclining
Buddha Image (70 metres long); the Shwedagon Pagoda, the most revered and
the world famous massive pagoda, and the Sule Pagoda to see the bustling
cityfolk in the heart of the city. Enjoy Thai buffet dinner and the culture
show at Kandawgyi Palace. Stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 2 YANGON - SITTWE - MRAUK U BY FLIGHT

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for flight to Sittwe.
On arrival at Sittwe Airport, proceed to Mrauk-U by boat. On arrival,
transfer to the hotel for check-in. Stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 3 MRAUK-U SIGHTSEEING


After breakfast at the hotel, tour highlights include the Koethaung Temple;
the Ratana Manaung Pagoda; the Sakya Manaung Pagoda; Bandoola Monastery; Lat
Say Kan Lake and the Zina Manaung Pagoda. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Day 5 MRAUK U - SITTWE BY BOAT

After breakfast transfer to the airport for flight to Bagan. On arrival at
Nyaung Oo Airport, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Visit Nyaung Oo
Market; the Shwezigon Pagoda; Kyansitha Umin (cave); the Gubyaukkyi Temple
at Wat Kyi In village, built in the 13th century and the Htilominlo Temple,
the original fine plaster and glazed sandstone decorations can still be

lacquerware workshop; the Thatbinnyu Temple and the Ananda Temple, a

Day 8 BAGAN - POPA - BAGAN BY CAR

After breakfast drive to Mt.Popa, an extinct volcano last active 250,000
years ago has been described as the Mount Olympus of Myanmar. It is
considered the abode of powerful Nats (spirits) and as such is the most
important Nat worship centre in Myanmar. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Return to Bagan. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Stay overnight at the
hotel.


Day 9 BAGAN - PWA SAW - MINNANTHU - BAGAN BY CAR


After breakfast visit the Dhamma-ya-zaka Stupa built by King Narapatisithu
in 1198 AD; Pwa Saw Village; Minnanthu Village; the Payathonzu Temple, a
masterpiece of temple design and construction has well-preserved frescoes;
the Thanbula Temple with a painting of a boat race on the eastern wall and
the Nandamanya Temple, the interior walls are entirely decorated with fine
frescoes. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch visit the Tayoke
Pyae Temple with plaster carving of arch pediment, and the Sulamani Temple.
Then take a riverine trip to Kyauk-Gu Umin (cave), decorated with fine
carvings. Enjoy the sunset from the boat. Enjoy dinner at a local
restaurant. Stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 10 BAGAN - MANDALAY BY FLIGHT

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for flight to
Mandalay. On arrival at Mandalay International Airport, transfer to the
hotel for check-in. Sightseeing includes: Royal Palace; Shwenandaw
Monastery; Atumashi Monastery; the Kuthodaw Pagoda and Mandalay Hill. Enjoy

Day 11 MANDALAY - MINGUN - SAGAING - MANDALAY


After breakfast take the car trip via Sagaing to Mingun, situated upstream
on the west bank of the Ayeyarwady River is famous for the Mingun Bell. It
is the biggest ringing bell in the world. Tour hightlights are the Settawya
Pagoda, where a footprint of Buddha is enshrined; the five-metre high Pondaw
Pagoda, a model of the Pahtodawgyi Pagoda which was left uncompleted, and
the Mya Thein Tan Stupa with seven wavy terraces around it. Return to
Sagaing. Visit Thein-nyo to study traditional method of weaving with more
than 100 shuttles, and Thabyedan Fort, the last line of defence of the
ancient Myanmar army on the bank of the Ayeyarwady River. Then continue to
Sagaing which was once the capital of an independent Shan kingdom around
1315 AD. Visit Sagaing Hills to see the impressive Soon Oo Pon-nya Shin
Pagoda and Thilaw-ka Guru Monastery. Return to Mandalay. Enjoy dinner at a
local restaurant. Stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 12 MANDALAY - PYIN OO LWIN - MANDALAY BY CAR

After breakfast at the hotel, take the car trip to Pyin Oo Lwin. At the
first viewpoint, enjoy the sensation of the climate change. Have a short
rest at 21-mile station and catch your breath at the second view point.
Visit Pyin Oo Lwin Market; Purcell Tower and Pwe Kauk Falls. Enjoy lunch at
a local restaurant. After lunch sightseeing includes: the Nyaung Kan Gyi

Day 16 PINDAYA - INLE LAKE BY CAR /BOAT

After breakfast check-out and transfer to Pindaya Cave with thousands of
Buddha statues in the limestone cave. Then visit some local houses where

soya bean cake making. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Pindaya. Then
proceed to Nyaungshwe by car. Transfer by boat to the hotel for check-in.

Day 17 INLE LAKE SIGHTSEEING


After breakfast at the hotel, take a boat trip around Inle Lake which is 22
km by 11 km and 1320 metres above sea level. Tour highlights include:
