Contract to Provide Credit Card and Debit Card Cash Advances to
Carnival's Fleet

Carnival Cruise Lines has signed a multi-year contract to use the
credit card and debit card products and services of Global Cash Access
(GCA), a leading provider of cash access products and related services
to the gaming industry.

GCA offers a number of products and services, including ATM
technology, cashless gaming and marketing services that help casino
patrons access cash, help gaming establishments better understand
their customers, and enhance gaming establishments' patron marketing
activities.

QCP Web is a proprietary browser-based, full service cash access
transaction processing system for casino cashier operations. It
processes multiple financial transactions through one device,
streamlining operations and increasing the speed of transactions.

QuikCash cash advance kiosks are customer-activated, touch screen
terminals that provide casino patrons with point-of-sale (POS) debit
and credit card cash advance transaction options. Available in
countertop, wall-mount, free-standing and handheld models, QuikCash
terminals can be installed virtually anywhere in a gaming
establishment.

Available through Central Credit, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Global
Cash Access, Inc., Central Credit check warranty service is a service
through which payment on certain types of patron checks is warranted,
which allows casinos to eliminate the risk of nonpayment on such
checks.

GCA makes (pardon the expression) a boat load of money. They charge a
fee AND a per centage for each transaction. I think the fee is
usually around $5.00 and the cut is 5%.

Default Cash Access Signs Carnival Cruise Lines! TOO EASY!

This feature was available on my recent Carnival Liberty cruise. It was
advertised continuously on the ships in cabin TV system as how to use
it. Simply you just place your Sail & Sign card into slot machines,
press a few buttons and EUREKA...you can gamble cashless with the
charges you bet posting right to your shipboard account. Ditto with
payouts you can have your winnings credited to your account as well
without having to cash out and the casino pay you upfront. IMO too easy
esp. for people that bet more than they should!
