Yes, there is a "branch" of the Rijksmuseum at Schiphol. Not too big, so
half an hour maximum visit time. But nice anyway.

It's an area in the main concourse, near the entrance to terminal D and E
(inside the non-Schengen security area). A few dozen paintings and other
items. Somewhat more interesting than the duty-free shops but no substitute
for the real thing.

Thanks, as I suspected, rather the same as the SFMO at the sf airport I
guess. Indeed better than the duty free shops, billfrogg

There's also a casino near that little museum.

When I was there in February they had a Van Gogh on display in the museum. I
can't say that I'm fond of airports generally, but I really like Schiphol.

Schiphol's nice. I've always liked the fact that the whole terminal is
under one roof.
But, 2F at Charles de Gaulle is definitely the nicest looking terminal
I've ever been to.

Hi,

well yes there is one.

but with only 3 hours at schipol I know I'd do a little shopping, have
some sushi and/or herring a few beers and watch the planes.
