Most of the women I know would laugh and say "at my age, I'm more like
frozen yogart"....they would understand a joke as a joke, but I guess that
doesn't apply to the sophisticated, who travel on cruise ships and sip
wine.
Maybe I should show respect and just call danni....well....danni. Nothing
else.

Or, you can refrain from referring to me at all.

Oh...I'll be around to refer to you and your father quite often, so I'll
just go back to "Dick G's foul mouthed daughter. Everyone on RTC will know
that I am writing about you. If I am unusually tired and don't feel like a
lot of writing, I'll just call you Miss PMS.
BTW...If I am ever traveling south thru NJ, I'll swing by and take you and
your father to lunch at one of those nice restaurants near your home. You
won't be able to say NO because I'll at the door. I'm that type of guy.

JP......loves deli food

Not the women I know, John...You don't have to be a sophisticated cruise
traveler to appreciate good manners and respect. Your last sentence shows
you can be respectful after all...Thank you!

Just a minor correction but the people you saw were Mennonites, not Amish.
Take a look at http://www.northernbelize.com/cult_mennonite.html We were
told that the Mennonites account for almost 80% of the dairy production in
Belize but I don't know how true that is. It was fascinating to see them
there.

About the people we saw - they were naked teens in the river. Yes, it
was kinda surprising to see them, but not enough to call it fascinating.
;-)

The tour guide might have identified them as "Amish" because they lived
very simply and weren't part of the "mechanized Mennonites" that run the
huge dairy and poultry operations. Just guessing on that, though.

If we want to make it a little more interesting, there are also a half
dozen congregations of Beachy Amish Mennonites in Belize. Doesn't even
have anything to do with the beach.
