Default essay in tourism management

For my essay in the last year of tourism I need a destination.
Now there are quite a lot in this world. Maybe you can help me?

1*: It has to be in Europa, so that it wouldn't be that expensive.

2*: People in the destination can speak English, Dutch, German or
French.

3*: I need a specified region. For example not France but Burgundy or
some kind of that.

Maybe you can tell me why you like the region you chose the most.
thx

Greater Bitterfeld, Germany. Quite challenging.

BRBR

Moravia, Czech Republic. Lots of people speak German as a second language (the
20-30 group favor English) great castles and lovely folk architecture, rolling
countryside as well as mountains; way of life more relaxed than that in Bohemia
(where Prague is situated.)

Beautiful and less touristy than Bohemia, too. Easy access to Austria and
Slovakia (Brno, the capital, is less than an hour from Vienna.) Folkways still
hang on in some of the villages, and not by the way, it's the wine country of
the CR.

It's also the area from which Milan Kundera, born in Brno, drew most of his
early novels and stories.

I like it because of the natural beauty, nature of the people and generally
relaxed atmosphere (even when you're trying to learn/speak Czech, as I am now
in the US and was in Moravia for most of 1999.)

tourism + essay ?
Mecklenburg-Vorpommern may be interesting. E.g. the rival of the old sea
resorts there.
They had the biggest increases on tourists in Germany the last years.
The development over the last decade there is very interesting and as this
happened all rather recently (or is still in process) it should be not to
difficult to find material for writing an essay.
