Cruise ship passenger visiting St. Thomas killed during gang shootout
[Default] Thus spake frijoli :
Stu wrote: Stu, does the Canadian government guarantee the safety of all tourists? Yes, that's why we have gun laws. As for the cruise ships, if I go cruising and port in St.Thomas, I go to shop, sample the ambience, try restaurants, not to get shot. They guarantee it?? How? Are you saying there is ZERO gun violence in Canada, and that the Gov't can guarantee safety? I read the news from around the world and I think you are mistaken about the "guarantee". I think you are being silly or trying to start a gun control debate. DC, for years, had very strict firearms laws. Which I'm sure is what led to the almost total disappearance of all crime, but particualarly firearms related crime.
