Air America breaking news: "USA to fingerprint ALL visitors !!!"

But the the USA is considering delaying by 2 years the requirement of
biometric passports, which would delay the need for all the people that will

get a USA visa since no countrty can start issuing biometric passports until
some standards are agreed to.

One must question whether the USA will be able to do much with those
fingerprints/photographs. This is probably more election policy so that the
Bush regime doesn't appear to cave in to allies when it agrees to delay the
rash biometric requirement.

If they were really smart, the USA would have required all passengers to be
photographed PRIOR to a flights (along with their checked luggage). This would
have allowed each country to keep the data according to their own data privacy
laws, and more importantly, in case of a crash, authorities would have access
to pictures of all passengers and their suitcases.

Now, if this news is only carried by the "radical" Air America, it is a
problem. All USA media should be carrying this news item sicne it will
definitely affect inbound tourism and impact guess whcih state the most : Florida.
